This documentary-style video tells the story of Erwin Blas, a human trafficking survivor whose journey highlights the life-changing work of The Salvation Army Orange County’s Anti-Trafficking Program.

After leaving the Philippines when his daughter was just four months old, Erwin endured years of labor trafficking before escaping and seeking support from The Salvation Army. The video features an interview with Erwin, sharing his experience and the long road that led to one of the most meaningful moments of his life: reuniting with his daughter at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Maffey Films captured this emotional reunion and Erwin’s story to help bring awareness to human trafficking, survivor support, and the importance of family reunification. Through documentary-style storytelling and real-life interviews, the video highlights how nonprofit organizations can help survivors rebuild their lives and reconnect with the people they love.
